cadete2000 Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I just bought FC2 but cannot set the throttle on the joystick(extreme3D pro) on FC1 it works ok but on FC2 i don't know what slider to set.Thank for the help.
GregP Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 In general JoyX would be roll, JoyY would be pitch, so throttle should be JoyZ or one of the other axes with 'Z' in it. Sure would have been nice to have an "in-GUI" axis tester, though, so you don't have to go into the game to see if you've set it up right.

HitchHikingFlatlander Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 ^Yeah thats what I do, in my experience DCS sets whatever axis you program to correct parameters anyways (ie: Pull the stick back it sets pitch up, stick forward = pitch down etc.....). http://dcs-mercenaries.com/ USA Squad
Vitesse2l Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I had to manually set throttle to "Slider 1" - it would not detect. I think I first cleared the existing assignment and then added... Slider 1 was in the drop down list. Hope that helps?
