169th_Storm Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I know this may sound stupid but It annoys me that when I change my HUD color when its dark the ambient light around it stays green. Is there a way to change that
Dmut Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 please read sticky thread - FAQ "There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general: recklessness, which leads to destruction; cowardice, which leads to capture; a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble." 169th_Storm Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 What I meant was.... When you fly at night you really see what im talking about. What Im talking about is not the color of the data on the screen. The ambient light that hits the surrounding area around the hud should change with the color on the screen as well. Fly at night and change your hud color and youll see the green ambient light around the surrounding area and youll know what i mean
Guest ruggbutt Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 It looks like the "glow" is part of the cockpit itself and isn't dynamic in relation to actual HUD color.
