Fish Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Is there any way to control the number of rockets released from the S80 and S13 salvo launchers in both The su25's. I have tried all combinations of the Ripple quantity and salvo switches. I am also curious of a switch on the WCS, the 'Cut of burst' switch, and have no idea of what it does. Page 186 of the manual states 'Rockets are usually used in volleys'. I agree that they are more effective 'en masse' but would be surprised if the option to use less in a volley did not reside with the pilot, as it does in the KA50 Fish's Flight Sim Videos [sIGPIC]I13700k, RTX4090, 64gb ram @ 3600, superUltraWide 5120x1440, 2560x1440, 1920x1080, Warthog, Tusba TQS, Reverb VR1000, Pico 4, Wifi6 router, 360/36 internet[/sIGPIC]
Avimimus Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 In Russia the option to fire volleys generally seems to reside with the pilot's trigger finger. ;) Not sure about the Su-25T - might be a bit more sophisticated. As a Rook pilot I fly the T using the same weapons techniques as the S - so I wouldn't have noticed. The 'cut burst' switch determines whether the cannon automatically stops firing after a certain number of rounds.
Boberro Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Simply press the button less time than normally :D I haven't heard any other method. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
isoul Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 In game I haven't seen any way to set salvo length but I believe in real life there should be a way to set it.
Boberro Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Supposedly in real life Su doesn't have that feature. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
