BTW what determines your rank and medals? Rank i imagine is just a factor of your total flight hours but the medals seem to be random. Ive received medals in game when all I did was take off and die. Doing exceptionally well in a mission doesnt seem to mean anything tho.

yes, i think it would be nice, if someone could explain how the logbook is working!) especially with awards and pilot rank...it s a verry motivating point, but i really miss this feature in multiplayer mode.

 

i d love to collect my flown time, destroyed targets and stuff form mp games too.

 

are there any plans to change this for FC2 and DCS aswell?)

I can tell what i found regarding awards:

 

Each country has defined awards in Scripts\Database\db_countries.lua. You can achieve them by earning points in missions (last award at 3000 points). Points are gained by killing enemy units. Unfortunately, I dont know the rates of the units.
