It isn't that important but when I try to add FC 2 to my Steam game list and start it up, it says-

cannot open.\BlackShark\BlackShark.lua : No such file or directory

Regular non-steam startup is fine, just not through Steam. Again, its not a big deal but I like the convienence.

It goes on the game list fine btw

This is because you need to set up a shortcut correctly. When you just add the exe into it it'll not be where it thinks it is and will fail to parse for files. Basically you need the Steam shortcut to have a "run in" similar to what windows shortcuts have.

Right-click your desktop icon.

One field named "target" says something like this: "C:\Games\LoMac\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\bin\x86\stable\Launcher.exe" --console

Another field named "start in" says something like this: "C:\Games\LoMac\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2"

Note how the executable is located in \bin\x86\stable\, but it is to be started in a different location. If you set Steam to just link to the executable without the separate start in, it will not be able to find the files it needs (like blackshark.lua), and you'll get exactly that error.

So, after adding it to your steam game list, right-click it and select properties, and change the "start in" to be the same as your desktop shortcut.
