JeffMAndersen Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 I was just wondering about a few things about this plane and the mods I've been seeing around the forum. -Is it possible to get the model to work in multiplayer? -How easily could I make a skin for the F15C to make it look like an E model (I am fine with the same model, and just a different skin) -Is this possible with FC2? I currently work at Seymour-Johnson AFB fixing these so I'd love to try to get it in my game :P.

Whoever took the idea of turning the eagle into a strike fighter must be rolling in wealth right now. What do you do at Seymoure Johnson? Also, is it true that the USAF isnt doing waivers for people who want to become officers since there are enough people who dont need medical waivers to fulfill their requirements? And can you link me to any strike eagle mod or skin you have seen around here? Never even heard of one. I currently work at Seymour-Johnson AFB fixing these so I'd love to try to get it in my game :P. The tomcatz f-15E is the only modded F-15E twin seat. There are F-15E skins done but fit the F-15C. Check the forum and see if tomcatz did the f-15E for FC2 yet. Nice mod.:)

He is busy but I am sure he will answer you. Give it a little while and if no luck give me a shout and I will see what I can do for you.

Well As far as I can remember, you as player could not, only A/A but you could assign your wingmen for A/G and I think you had to assign targets for them in the mission editor. I'm not too worried about the functionality of the twin cockpit or A2G but more just the looks of the plane. I dislike the lightblue/gray color of the C model. I think the darker gray looks way better.

I think the darker gray looks way better. Hopefully tomcatz will answer that question. As for the skin, it's not that hard to darken the skin with a photo editor. Making a new one, well that's a whole different thing but if dark is what you want then just darken the one Tomcatz has. It should work out ok if that is the look you are after. Try some of the F-15c skin mods and see if they will work. there is a skin mod done for the f-15e but it is on the C model but it might overlay ok. Just try it and see, no harm in trying. I do see Tomcatz has done most of his a/c mods for Fc2 and although there is a couple that say F15C it might be a missprint and it is actually one C and the E. I would check that if you haven't already. Also give him a shout, he is a real nice guy. Hope you find it. cheers.:)
