Nate--IRL-- Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 The pixely shadows are a limitation of the Graphics engine. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
avieln Posted June 27, 2010 Author Posted June 27, 2010 its strange becasue even when grapchi engine set to min/max i dont see any differance in the pixel things. i've noticed that even on the photos took by eagle dynamics on the setup screen the shadow look pixely

Boberro Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Yup finally we'll get soft shadows. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
avieln Posted June 27, 2010 Author Posted June 27, 2010 DCS: A-10 graphics engine correct this problem :pilotfly: so there is no way to fix this in flaming cliffs?

coolts Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Heh, no way hose. DCS is a different ballgame. We are lucky ED updated FC2with DCS terrain and MP at all. That was an easter present! (ish) In any case, if you are spending that much time looking at shadows then you are too far from the engagement zone! turn 180 and get back to the fight! :pilotfly: [PS. i will check my shadows tonight as i dont think mine are as stepped as that] [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 9700k | 32gb DDR4 | Geforce 2080ti | TrackIR 5 | Rift S | HOTAS WARTHOG | CH PRO Pedals
