hassata Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Is there any way to move the HUD down in the alt F1 Hud only view or even better to bring down all of what is displayed (so more sky, less ground)? Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Nate--IRL-- Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 (edited) You'd do it the same way as you normally move your view (Numpad Keys or mouse etc). If you get it the way you want it, try Ralt + Numpad 0 to save the view as default. Nate Edit:- To save a new default view position, you may have to edit X:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\View\view.lua to show these lines (line 51) DisableSnapViewsSaving = false UseDefaultSnapViews = false Edit Lua files with Notepad++ only, not notepad. http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ Edited July 3, 2010 by Nate--IRL-- 1 Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

Nate--IRL-- Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Yes it should work, it will move the default centre position that TIR resets to. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
G3 Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 (edited) for the hud give this a shot  the hud position in the "alt-f1" view can be adjusted by editing the settings in the config/view in the file named view scroll down and find "hud displacement for hud only view" below that find your plane of choice and edit the coordinates to suit (makes me think there might be a way to get seperate hud using this method.) for the view position try edit the coordinates in your config/monitor config eg: 1camera and edit the viewdx and viewdy settings making only slight adjustments makes big view position changes if standard = 0-0 then try say 0.2 and i think negative values are ok too like -0.2 Edited July 6, 2010 by G3 1
