Ghostrida9 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) for Lockon FC 2, I would work on it but I'M busy to work on the Landscape and new roads, I try to make everything a lil bit more western style, bring a lil bit more life into the Sim.. but yea the Night in LOCKON fc 2 is horrible, we need more Lights somehow, there must be a way to add more lights on textures (Brighter) and place some Lamps across the scenery and bases, it can't be that difficult.... :chair:, nothing against 3d model makers but I think to many just working on the same thing, and we could have more improvements for lockon if everybody with skiils is working on something different...please someone hear me.. :) Edited July 14, 2010 by Ghostrida9 Lights, Night RAF Gütersloh Airbase Project Now or Never
Vekkinho Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 AFAIK, there are two different terrain textures in FS-X...same thing with Falcon 4.0. Day terrain texture shows roads, city blocks, bridges etc in their non enlightened form while night terrain simply adds luminescent white/yellowish texture to the terrain. So it's not a real light but an effective mock up. Transition between the two is rather unrealistic so you'll find it too direct like all of the lights in the world pop in and out at the same time like some major power surge/blackout.
