Conure Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Hey guys, I've played quite a lot on my own now and wanted to play with someone online, maybe with some simple campaigns with voice comms - I don't really want to jump into an online server as I'd have no clue what to do, but just flying with a few of you guys would be great! I'm from the UK but can stay up late enough to play with some of you guys from the USA if possible.. I put it here as it's not strictly multiplayer based, just looking for somebody thats up for flying with a noob for a while, not competitively or anything! Thanks :) Conure Intel i7 6700k, Asus GTX1070, 16gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Rudder Pedals, Samsung Evo 850 SSD @ 500GB * 2, TrackIR 5 and 27" monitor running at 2560 * 1440, Windows 10.

Check out the forums, your always welcome there. Oh, did i say we got lots of banter? Heli Shed Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Hi conure, thanks for your PM. At the risk of turning your post into a 'recruitment' stance, may i suggest that you take up Falcon on his offer. You are of course always welcome to come along to the 104th too and learn from both squadrons. When you can answer my original post with something along the lines of "profficient', then why not 'apply' for selection into our academy. You will have to pass three UPT sections before advancing onto AFT, NAV and ENG modules, culminating in a live assessment using all of those skills lasting 40 minutes whilst 20 people from all over the world watch. If you pass, you become a winged member and then may select for further advanced training. Good luck in whatever you do, fly safe. 'T' Come pay us a visit on YouTube - search for HELI SHED
Conure Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 Cheers guys! I've applied, so am waiting on activation of my account. Currently learning the startup procedure for the shark...It's going to take a while before I can do it without a notepad!
