The diamond targetting thingy has always made me wonder:huh:

in real life, do targets actually appear as diamonds on the HUD? and what about moving targets?

also in FC2 the wingman points the targets for you (is that realistic???)

I could be wrong now, but that targeting diamond (you probably mean for ground targets) is supposed to be a lased target. So someone is pointing a laser at that spot and the onboard systems are detecting it for you :)

It depends of HUD... it can be square, triangle or whatever else :P

If target unit position is well known it might be marked. It is especially used for bombing, where you write GPS coords (or someone is example lasing) to plane computer and you see on the HUD its location...

Mostly I think you will not see diamond in real life for typical single units as it is in LO.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D
