hachiman Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Hi I am using a Saitek X45. When i test it outside of FC2 all the controls and axis work. But if i start a mission in FC2 i lose height and crash. I seem to have no control of the plane apart from perhaps thrust. I've enclosed a screenshot of the in game options screen. This is my Y-Axis. My joystick is centred but the little dot goes all the way to the right. Somethings not right? Any ideas? Thanx
EtherealN Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 A track file would be interesting, to analyze the actual inputs going into the simulator. Also, a screeshot of that same page without the axis tune panel would be interesting. hachiman Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 Thanx for quick reply. I think the screenshot is what your asking for. I don't know how to do the track, but if you advise me i'll do it. I'm pretty sure it's my x45 as sometimes it seems to want to cooperate and other times it doesn't. Thanx
TeeJay82 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Have you tried updating your x45 drivers? http://www.saitek.com and get the latest drivers and/or software.. my x45 never messed up lomac, but i often checked for new drivers
TeeJay82 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 also try to bind the rotarys for trim and try to trim it up just as you enter the game
Bushaman Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Same issue is happening to me in both black shark and Flaming Cliffs 2. Anyone get this resolved? Please help. Thanks in advance! hachiman Posted August 27, 2010 Author Posted August 27, 2010 I sorted mine by installing Win 7 and getting an X-52. Drastic, but it worked. :)
EtherealN Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Minor note - to make tracks, just click "save track" after a flight in the debrief screen. It'll then be in your Missions/Tracks folder. 159th_Falcon Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Maybe a dumb question but, what plane where you flying? In FC2 you need to assign controls to each plane individually. Thus if you only assigned controls for the A10-A which is shown in the screenshot, but try to fly the F15 for example you can expect similar behavior as you described.
