viper3two Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 What folder is the graphic configuration file for LOFC2? I was wanting to check some things and not sure if I am looking at the right file. Reason for asking is I am trying to tweak for higher fps. No matter what I do with the nvidia control panel regarding AA, framerates always stay the same (around 40). Even with AA of or 32x..., so just wondering if it is set in a config file somewhere. Thanks
Frazer Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 First of all, a stable 40 FPS is not bad. Secondly, you can leave your graphics card setting on high, since (like you noticed) this doesn't affect FPS much. Blackshark and FC2 are much more CPU (processor) bound than GPU (graphics card). Objects and visibility range greatly affect FPS. I suggest you to download and read through this thread: DCS Black Shark Tweak Guide Alpha Version DCS Blackshark has the same file structure as FC2, so you can use and learn about the settings and how they affect the game. I was wondering why settings didn't make much of a differnce, the only thing that will make a difference is the viewable range, kick it back to medium and I get more fps's. But really like you said, 40's is not that bad. I will take a look at that tweak guide, appreciate the link. :thumbup:
