davek1979 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 To the guys who complain campaigns are difficult / AI sucks: Maybe someone already posted this, in which case I can only say the truth - haven't seen it, so I'm posting it. This is absolutely NOT a clean tactics, so you might want to reconsider, if you like stuff squeaky clean, but there is a workaround if your mission ends up sour and you DON'T WANT TO STEP BACK IN CAMPAIGN. 1, fire up TASK MANAGER 2, end the process called simulator.exe Mission will end with no results and your progress in campaign is preserved. ...well someone has to move the mud!!!
Nate--IRL-- Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I usually do this only if the mission has gone wrong and it's not my fault (ie Wingmen trying to fly through my Shark etc.). Otherwise I accept the defeat. Of course, nobody here would dream of abusing such a method to progress in the campaign ;) Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
davek1979 Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 That's why I said it's not a clean way. :-) But after your shortsighted paraplegic wingman bumps your tail off after an otherwise successful mission, it does help to save some nerve. ...well someone has to move the mud!!!
