Been trying to get online with a buddy of mine to fly. Not sure why, but we can't connect over Hamachi virtual LAN, and when I create an INternet Server, he can never find me.

When I browse the servers, I only see 1 server.....any idea why???

Before you ask, I have purchased this copy of FC2.

FIXED: Updated to 1.2.1

That problem was fixed, but I still can't figure out how to host a game for just my friend and I.....when one of us creates an internet game, neither of us can see it, and it doesn't work over Hamachi LAN either.

Anyone have any ideas?

You're probably behind a modem or router which blocks connections to your computer. Most likely because your computer has an private IP address (in the range 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x). You'd need to explicitly configure the router to forward the port the program uses to your computer. A bit out of scope for this forum, but if you check the manual for your router or do an internet search for "port forward router model" you should find instructions.

The port number is shown when you're creating the server, as is your IP address if you select the Interfaces drop-down list. If you select server type as Internet then it should register it so it can be browsed in the server list - you can set a password to prevent randoms from dropping in.

I'm not sure how Hamachi LAN works either, but if it creates a virtual interface you can probably select that from the interfaces drop-down list.

Also check if the Windows Firewall or your anti-virus/internet security software is blocking the inbound connections.
