71st_Mastiff Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 more than likely due to system specs and settings. TeeJay82 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 does the game run well when your flying yourself? could it be a codec malfunction?
blackrails Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 yes yes whall I fly the game runs fine.
nomdeplume Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Just to clarify, by the training missions you mean you've downloaded the various training videos and installed them, and are accessing them from the "Training" option on the main menu? If so, that's very interesting. Those training 'missions' are really just videos, so it's really interesting your machine can run a 3D flight simulator without problems, but playing back some fullscreen video brings it to its knees! Things you can try to workaround: switch the game to a lower resolution (probably windowed) and see if that helps Options -> Resolution dropdown under "System" Try also unticking the "Fullscreen" box if you select a low resolution than your desktop uses [*]watch them on YouTube instead http://www.youtube.com/user/eagledcs#g/p The "LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2.0" category contains the first set of videos (corresponding to Fighter Weapons School) The videos are numbered so you can run them in order, although the English version of the second mission seems to be missing [*]try playing them in an external media player http://www.videolan.org/ is a free media player that can play the .ogv format the training videos are in you can find the videos under your FC2 install directory, in Training\LOP\en
