I don't think it's possible, frankly, but if it is, it'll make my life incredibly easier.

Is there a way to make units continuously respawn throughout a game according to, say, a timeframe? Like every X-seconds, if a group is dead, the SAME group will respawn where it started off earlier on? Or is that just a pipe dream for me?

Something tells me this isn't a feature in Lock On FC2, so I think I'm just going to have to end up making a piss-load of spawn points for AI and just running them off timed intervals. :P

If you get the mission editor mod it allows you to duplicate triggers I think that will make that so much easier. Basicly just create a set amount of groups and name them Initial, Respawn 1 , Respawn 2... etc. Then create the trigger to deactivate group and activate the next "respawn" group. You can set it based on a flag, the time since the flag has passed, or the amount of mission time that has passed.

o.o Mission editor mod you say? This only needs to be client-side, right? I do a lot of missions for my squadron and campaigns.

Where would I find this?

Pipe dream, you'll need to make lots of copies of the groups and use flags and triggers to activate them as needed. Blindspot's mission editor mod will help a lot with making the copies, as it has an option to copy an existing group including waypoints.

Edit: wow, left this open in a tab too long before replying.

Mission editor mod is in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=55463

Missions made with it are compatible with vanilla FC2, though if you use the fancy new and/or logic for conditions, you won't be able to edit the missions in a vanilla FC2.

Erm, by 'vanilla' FC2 do you mean with or without the patch? Or just unmodded?

Unmodded. FC2 without the latest patch doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned. :D

Or to put it another way: the mission files the mission editor mod creates don't require the mission editor mod to be installed in order to play them. You may need to have the mod installed in order to be able to edit them.

Hm, this mission editor tool is pretty nifty. o.o

Should prove helpful. Thanks guys. :D I'm still trying to figure out how to use the advanced triggers, but I'll get it eventually.
