OK i think im starting to under stand things. I got windows to see all 3 monitors. And i have set my far left monitor as the main monitor where before it was not. I have gotten the game to go almost across the 3 monitors. The right monitor is about 3/4 of the way. But i cant zoom back as far as i want. Still a little close to the front panel.

Make sure the resolution is set to 4240x1050 in the options menu, after that I'm out of ideas. Also, please keep posting pictures, it's much easier than trying to imagine what you are seeing.

The game will not let me type anything in to the resolution box. That is my biggest problem.

Now im trying to do the Camera on main and the shkval and abris on one screen. No mater what i do this does not work in BS.

And forget even FC 2. Why do they give that option for 3 monitors in the game. I can only see one dial at a time

Then I really am out of ideas I'm afraid. I have no idea why it wont let you change resolution.

With the two screen .lua, again you are putting the values in the wrong place. The X and Y values are where the top left of the camer/shkval/abris begin, not their size. Size is dictated by the width and height values. I can't edit it for you since I don't know what monitor setup you want to use for it, or how you want the abris and shkval to appear.

You have to manually edit the options.lua file in Black Shark to input a non standard resolution.

I have a problem that i cannot get my shkval in my left screen with my right screen being the main monitor (position 0,0). I know it will probably have to do with negative coordinates but is their a way around it? Can i (without making my left monitor primary or physically switching my monitors) get the shkval on my left monitor? (either with a tool or is their a special way of putting in a negative value in the lua files?)

Short answer: No.

Long answer: DCS doesn't recognise negative coordinates, so you'll either have to make the left monitor the primary or put the left monitor to the right of the centre monitor. It will not work any other way other than telling windows it is on the right even though it is physically on the left.

My monitors are set up the same as yours and unfortunately since I can't get my touch screen input to work on the secondary monitor, it has to stay on the left as my primary when playing. What i did was buy a copy of UltraMon and have my centre as the primary for normal use on one user account and I play DCS on a second user account with my left touch screen set as the primary (UltraMon can save monitor configurations for different users).

Edit: (root)\BlackShark\data\scripts\options.lua

---------------------------------------------------------------

["graphics"] =

{

["multiMonitorSetup"] = "Shkval+Camera+ABRIS", --may have change with patch

.

.

["fullScreen"] = false, --disable full screen, but will be max monitor resilution

.

.

.

["height"] = 1080, --max high resolution tallest monitor of desktop

["resolution"] = "1920x1080", --resolution of main monitor

} -- end of options

If using monitors with different resolutions you will need to EDIT/Create You Own: "(root)\Config\MonitorSetup\*.lua" setting the resolution hight and width of each monitor.

Your Desktop resolution will be the width of the total monitors by the hight of the highest monitor[/color]

Cockpit View - Left-Center-Right View

Now setting up three monitors for cockpit view has two options.

1 – Use the 3camera setting across the tri-monitor desktop with edges that don’t mesh so well.

attachment.php?attachmentid=47413&stc=1&d=1297173453

NOTE:

The view angle shows the sides of the cockpit, when the monitors are NOT beside my head.

From my head position to the edges of my monitors is ~120 degrees.

2 – Use the 1camera setting across the tri-monitor desktop AND adjust the FOV (field of view).

Love the look of the bottom pic. However, in BS2 folders there is no BlackShark\data\scripts\options.lua file or files. There is a graphics.cfg file, but doesn't show anything similar to whats posted here.

This is driving me a little nuts. In this day and age this shouldn't be this hard to do.

OK, from bits and pieces here. Set the screen resolution to whatever your eyefinity setting is. Then select one monitor and set aspect ratio at 4.3 Works like a charm then.
