Deadman Posted June 6, 2020 Author Posted June 6, 2020 (edited) I have been ask to prove I have an AAU-34/A or a military altimeter here are a couple of picture of two units the AAU-34/A real instrument located on the bottom shelf left side to the right of the RWR IP 1310A indicator the second is an AAU-19/A for a simulator any thing else?... He was (in my altimeter thread) criticising my choice to try to reproduce the look of the altimeter in the game, while stating that I "wish to make" a different one that's not in the game, and I just mentioned that in this whole build thread, I didn't find one photo of his.

The statement i made and information I supplied was only to give you the option of having and using information you did not seam to have. You all so are a bit confusing when you post a drawing with an AAU 34 with what appear to be OLEDs display. So any way I was just wanting to get you some information. I have no consern about how or what you build Cheers. Even the fill connector was tough to get. In the end I got one from China. Parts to build an A-10C in the UK means DIY most of the time. Where did you get your hands on 2 legit RWR’s, Deadman? Oh and I have to say I cheated and made my own electromagnetic latching switches for the SAS. I’ve only built one as yet using solenoids and levers. It functions as a momentary switch with the power off... but turn on the power it moves a sliding lever inside the switch and when the switch is flipped it holds it in place with said solenoid. The finished versions just need cutting out on my cnc. The finished switch is pretty large but it is all hidden away under the panel.
