X52 and X52 pro Profile for DCS A-10C

Posted this first in the beta forums but i figured some of you guys that don't have access there yet might want this to :)

 

Hi everyone.

 

I made a profile suitable for both X52 and X52 Pro and set up to work with stock Keyboard settings. Rotarys are not assigned and you may assign these to your liking in controller options.

Not 100% tested since i'm still in the learning process of the game :)

Profile pics included as a single PDF.

 

I tried to stay close to the real thing as possible. Added some extra stuff to free buttons. Set up for TrackIR Centering.

Thanks to everyone for ideas and help. Also thanks for providing the command list and to the dude that made the originally profile graphics :)

Fixed reversed pinky fwd/aft for X52 Pro

Fixed reversed boat fwd/aft for X52 Pro

 

Updated 21/10-10:

Removed obsolete "Reset Audible Warning" from launch button.

Added "Reset Trims" to launch button (Shift state).

Nothing wrong with the speedbrakes. The slider must be in the mid posisition after you set the speedbrakes in the wanted position or it will block all other commands.

Thanks :), Working on it and i'm going to remove a couple of obsolete commands and add a couple of more. Audible warning is also TMS short left.

As far as i know there's no changes to the controls so the profile should work fine :)

Could you provide me with specific keys,what changed to what, and i'll fix it very fast?

I don't have the time to go through all the keys these days.

Hello,

i wanted to use this profile for my x52 but as soon as i load it, still not in the sim but in the desktop , i hear a ringing tone ( some times stop and some time rings ) and if i open folder with the mouse left button instead of opening one window it opens more... like if something is pressed and in conflict with keyboard...

What could it be?

Another question please. What does it mean in the throttle hat " mic up , mic down... etc? " Is it assigned to some special control for TARS ?

Hey there.

 

I'm new here and just downloaded this X52 A-10C profile.

 

Seems great but I'm having the same problem described by Kite.

 

Joystick hotkeys are working fine in-game but as soon as I load the profile on the X52, a weak ringing tone is appearing.

 

When I want to open a folder, it's opening multiple ones and when I open a text editor as Notepad the "B" key is repeating itself over and over like "BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB.........".

 

Finally, sometimes the keyboard stop working in-game... keys stop responding.

 

So, in the training mission, when the instructor asks for pressing a key for example "DMS UP" to Zoom In (TGP), using the joystick works but the instructor don't detect the action as done and is waiting me to press the key which is "HOME". But at that time, keyboard is no longer responding... So, pressing the "HOME" key does nothing and instructor is still waiting. Can't do anything as I'm stuck and forced to end the training.

Hum, problem solved.

 

The issue was coming from the precision slider which is affected to the SpeedBrakes deploy/retract with MAJ-B / CTRL-B.

 

Solution is simply to find another key assignment for the SpeedBrakes or to delete them and assign on other joytsick buttons.
