DayGlow Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 Just wondering if the devs are going to look at this at all. When you first turn on the laser designator a single keypress will jump it around a inch across the sight. Once it's ground stablized it is much smoother, but it's still very hard to get a good rough aim on a spot with it jumping around. Changing keyboard rate has zero effect as it's jumping with a single keypress. Skywall23 Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 You mean firing a missile with the Su-25 laser seeker? Try pressing "your lock on target" key and then try slewing the cursor now... smooth heh? Hope im not answering to the wrong question.... :o
VapoR Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 I have this problem too, once ground-stabilized just one button press will move the crosshairs 4 or so vehicle lengths off the target. This is magnified if you are at a low angle to the target, of course. I find that a steeper attack helps some. But is the real Su-25 that twitchy with laser controls??

It takes too long to just enter ground stabalized mode right away and slew over to a target that is closer to edge of the sight, but moving it in unlocked mode is way to jumpy to have any accuracy.
