I made mission to just fly and get feel of A/C. The neither the AP or the Trim, all axis will work, even using keyboard inputs. And, I did a default reset to all.

No problem in instant action or missions, they work.

Is this know issue or mine. :helpsmilie:

Trim works fine, make sure you have the trim properly programmed to your stick. AP only works, currently, if you start in the AC after startup - i.e. on runway or in the air. The EAC switch, part of autopiot, is not fully implemented in this version of the beta.

Strange, i tried that and now the AP indication on HUD(alt/head) appears when i engage the AP but is not holding the plane, it is doing nothing. If i try to move it gives the "WARNING, AUTOPILOT" as if it was working.

On missions that start from the air the AP hold the aircraft fine.

When the developers implement the EAC this is probably going to be fixed anyway.

I found the AP working in all flights by assigning a key or button to the EAC Arm.

Correction the trim dosen't work anywhere. I have tried programing in both SST and in SIM no go.

Now since last post I took a brake, jumped back in the Sim and now my TIR has stoped working. Thought it my be a problem with the TR-5 solfware since I periodic issues with it and TR-4. Installed the 4 solfware. It starts up and then the green light go out and no op. With the 5 solfware the green light will not even come on, but the red lights will show for both.

I am cursed.

Then reset your control mappings and try again, because that's the only thing that can prevent the trim from working. Even with auto-pilot on, you can still roll trim.

Does the trim not even work with the original keyboard mappings? Fire up the first Instant Action mission, unpause and hold RCtrl+comma. This should make the AC bank to the left.

Regarding auto-pilot, engage EAC by mapping it to a key in options, this is required for AP to work.

Trim works only with keyboard by pressing ( ctrl ) first then key. But when I assign that way in solfware they don't work. If if reverse the the ctrl and key, that don't work. Then don't work on any hotas key assignment in SST OR SIM.

I will uninstall.

Is it safe to assume your other key mappings work? Have you verified that the key mappings are typed in correctly? For instance with my stick, the Cougar:

Key combos have to be surrounded by {..} brackets. The keys for control are typed CTRL, and you have to specify if it's left control LCTRL. They also have to be capitalized to work as well.

example: BTN6 = /H {CTRL ;}

FYI... the /H tells the programming software to "hold" the button until the user releases. Your software may have similar requirements that, maybe, aren't being met.

Either way good luck and I hope you figure it out.
