jazjar Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 To add to the growing amount of questions on the SADL, are enemy unit symbols supposed to show up on the TAD display, or is it not implemented yet? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Frogfoot1606687865 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 The SPI of other members of your package will show up on the TAD as small 'wedding cakes' joined by a blue line to the attacking A/C. So this gives you an indication of enemy units in that area. You can hook the wedding cake symbol and make it your SPI if you like and go in to help. When being tasked by a JTAC the location of the target will be marked by a small red triangle on the TAD when you have completed the 9 line procedure and received point data. As for any other units locations I don't know. I would expect the known positions of enemy fixed assets to be stored to the data cartridge or broadcast over DL.
