TonyP Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Reading the Manual I came upon this::book: Note: The A-10C does not include a route autopilot system that automatically flies the aircraft to a steerpoint or along a loaded flight plan. Because the EAC is non-functioning in the initial BETA, I couldn't experiment to see how this works. I'm assuming that setting the autopilot will only hold altitude and direction, you'll need to reset it for each leg of your flight plan. I'm I kinda accurate in this assumption?
sobek Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Yes. The EAC does work, you just need to use the key combo because clicking the switch in the pit is what's not working. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Azazel Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 EAC works fine for me. The switch doesn't work on start up so I just maped it to a key: "e" in this case. RogueRunner Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Or just start on the runway with engines running, EAC is then already enabled. With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.
