Mission engine start

I wanted to do the engine start-up mission to familiarize my self with the start-up procedure. Somewhere in the middle of the mission i had to switch the bety warning system, just after starting both engines. The knob is located just under the throttle. The button seemed to do nothing? and the mission did not progres, since it was waiting for the button to be switched. Did any body else noticed this?

 

And in the same mission, there is a truck parked extreemly close to my plane, so close that his windshield is going through my right wing flap.

Q: I cannot switch on the EAC. Instead some switch on the emergency panel moves. This prevents me from completing the Start-Up training mission.

A: This is a known issue. The Hog will fly without it. A temporarily modified version of the start-up lesson that skips this switch can be downloaded here:

You can also map a key to EAC Start and wait for the next beta version to fix the switch. Or start on the runway/in the air. :)

That's what I did, the E key doesn't appear to be used for anything which is handy as it makes it easy to remember. E=EAC on, Shift-E=EAC off :)

The startup training mission goes along if you press the ENT button on the UFC (upfront controller) once its done with its BIT (built in test)
