Ramstein Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 How to stop the player status messages in game? Example: a pilot shoots a ground target and a message displays at the top of the screen for several seconds saying something like 'Joe_Pilot used Vikhrs to kill T-80 Tank'. Can this message option that goes out to everyone changed in sim, or is it permantly built into the sim.. ? Thanx.. Panzertard Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I assume you mean Multiplayer. I think it's this one: .\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Config\network.cfg server = { disable_events = false, client_params = "motd=\"Welcome to Flaming Cliffs 2 server!\";", pause_on_load = true, into server = { disable_events = true, client_params = "motd=\"Welcome to Flaming Cliffs 2 server!\";", pause_on_load = true, The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
dane48 Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 This is a question I recently had also. Not necessarily multiplayer but single player. I wanted a nice night time flight to take pics and put a movie together but the messages just keep coming up of the ai aircraft and ground units. One member suggested turning off the radio. Is there any other alternative? As always, Thank you. "To most people, the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is home."-----anonymous
