monsterZER0 Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Hey guys, I did a search but all the results were referencing Flaming Cliffs 1.12 or lower. I know in FC 1.12 all you had to do to 'set' your takeoff direction at a particular airfield was to put a slight headwind down the intended runway in the editor (does that make sense, lol?). I'm now using FC 2.0 and that old trick doesnt seem to work now. It seems that regardless of what direction I set the wind to, my takeoff direction is set to the opposite of how I want it. Frustrating. :joystick: Does anyone know how to get around this problem in FC 2.0? Thanks Core i5 750 @ 3.4Ghz | 8gb G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 | ASUS P7P55D | ATI Radeon HD6970
nomdeplume Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Works more or less the same I think, but: - wind direction in the editor is the direction it blows towards, not the direction it blows from - not all airfields can operate in both directions, so wind has no effect
Steel Jaw Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Wind direction should always be from WHERE it blows FROM, not where it blows TO.
