I'm currently a cougar user and pair it with the TM Elite rudder pedals through the gameport on the stick. Would I still be able to use my TM Elite pedals with the Warthog with a usb to gameport adapter? Thanks

The adaptor might work. You can also leave the pedals plugged in via the Cougar stick base and use them with the Warthog. The added benefit of this is that, since T.A.R.G.E.T. maps the Cougar axes, you can present a single controller to sims that require it.

This sounds like the way to go. I'll do this and by the time I decide to sell my cougar I'll either have gotten new pedals or will go the adapter route.

So what your saying is you can also have the Warthog in another usb port along with the throttle and the cougar in a third usb and just use the Warthog software to enable the pedals connected to the cougar?

Yeah quite a usb killer but it would be that anyway...since TM didn t prepare the warthog to be USB host.

About the adapter...i m curious.

This one adapter specify TM RCS !!! CH STICK with some limitations. So i ll bet its good foe elite too

Is it working 100% with that adapter?

The adapter I posted works fine if you set the mode switch to "2". Windows 7 sees it as a "4-axis, 4-button joystick w/view finder". To use the pedals in a sim use the "Z Rotation" axis. Make sure you don't have any of the other axis mapped. It's a little bit jittery, but I guess that's just the crappy pots TM uses. Also the pedals I uses are over 10 years old.

I ll tell you if its the pot or not. I modded them with Cubby, Hall sensors on all axis, marvellous, he also have material to improve/refurbish them!!!
