TonyP Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Does it run after the screen message says, hit the spacebar to continue. Nothing happens for me, I can fly, but receive no further tutorial guidance. This is in Beta 2.
Gonzo01 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Anyone know why I always get a CCRP Invalid in the HUD when I switch to CCRP mode in this training mission?
Frederf Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 When it asks for "space bar" it's actually looking for the trigger input which just happens to be keyboard space bar by default. ED should really address this as you're about the 5th person to ask this on the forums and it took me several seconds of thought to "Um.. wha? Ooohhh. Well that's dumb." CCRP invalid will show when your SPI (probably the STPT in this case) is above your jet.
Gonzo01 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I reset my SPI to Steerpoint TMS AFT LONG before heading to the range. It always says CCRP Invalid in the HUD when I switch to CCRP mode. Also I haven't even designated a SPI just reset it when I see the error. Anyone else see this message? Also, should we be flying in low and level when we drop the MK-82 High Drag bombs when set to N/T fusing?
Frederf Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I don't know what weapons or HUD mode you were in so I can only guess. CCRP invalid suggests some sort of "uncomputable" solution request like a CCIP gun shot at a high positive pitch. As for Mk-82AIRs... pretty much. The whole point of the high drag mode is not to frag yourself on the pass which means low. When you're low it might as well be level since descending meets dirt and ascending means you aren't all that low any more. 5-10 degrees down for a CR CCIP pass is hardly out of the question though.
