hreich Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Where can I access default warthog profile? I would like to change some factory-mapped buttons and keys...for example, I would like to map left throttle button to key "G"...I cant do it in the DCS game configuration page for controls... WHere is the default A-10 DCS profile saved? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Pilot from Croatia
kylania Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I've already told you in another thread, but you need to explain exactly what you want. Do you want to map the in game command of "Left Throttle Button" to the "G" key, meaning when you press "G" you'll get the same effect as if you had pressed the real life "Left Throttle Button", ie enable Autopilot. Essentially pressing "G" to turn on Autopilot. Or did you want to be able to press the physical button on the left throttle of your shiny new WH in order to lower the landing gear in game? The first is under A-10 Sim / HOTAS / Keyboard the second is under A-10 Sim / Systems / Throttle [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie
hreich Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Ok...sorry for poor explanation of what I would like to do...It is quite simple, I would like when i press left throttle button not to activate auto pilot, but to deploy/retract gears...But I am unable to assign key "g" to that button. I already tried to make a change in game options, so that I assigned key q to lower/raise landing gear.. But everytime i press throttle button on warthog, it always is used for autopilot on/off. MTFDarkEagle Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Can't you go to the lower gear command, and assign the right throttle button to that command? Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
kylania Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 As I said in my other post, don't map "G" to anything. Map the Toggle Landing Gear Up/Down under A-10C Sim / Systems / Throttle to JOY BTN15 on the Throttle (that's the Left Throttle Button). Open Options, click on Controls, select the A-10C Sim dropdown, select the Systems dropdown, scroll till you see Toggle Landing Gear Up/Down, click the field for that selection under the Throttle Column to highlight it, click on Add at the bottom, press the Left Throttle Button till you see JOY BTN15 fill in the key field. Click OK, click OK, enjoy. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Christmas Cheer - A Landing Practice Mission : Beta Paint Schemes : HOTAS Keyboard Map : Bingo Fuel - A DCS A-10C Movie
