- To prevent false target indications, the forward RWR antennas are blocked during radar transmissions. This is very important to note: if the radar is in operation, the pilot will get NO RWR warning from a forward quarter emitter.

РЛС Н019 в режиме обзора непредлагает летчику информацию о высоте цели. Тоже если пет информации о высоте цели от КП, летчик может нажать кнопку СПО-ОБЗОР и на индикаторе СПО увидить если цель вверх/вниз чем Миг-29. Конечно, РЛС цели нужна была быть также в режиме излучения. Просто такая обычай для летчиков наших ВВС.

Eсть это одновременная работа СПО и РЛС в передней полусфере или нет?

At first you should chceck the first page, please. :icon_wink He picked up some sentences from an article dealing the SPO-15 problems with the SU-27/Mig-29 radar. I answered with an example taken from the Mig-29 service.

The RWR SPO-15 can be used to gain the altitude information (also direction,etc) of the enemy a/c in general (below/above) during the N019 radar engagement, thus it denies what mentioned in that statement. That`s all.

yes, I've heard both positive and negative acknowledgment about that issue with H-001\019 and SPO-15. Some pilots confirm it and some deny. Official documents and pilots manuals deny the existence of that issue, that's why ED didn't impelement it in LO.

 

ps: you may post in russian or english, whatever you like. posts in English are prefferable to address to English part of these forums.
