Midnight Train to Georgia - hang

[Stretch]

My game locks up when playing Midnight Train to Georgia, about 2 or 3 minutes after passing steer 2 on the way to steer 3. Sounds continue, but the video freezes and the game is non-responsive.

 

I've tried cleaning my precompiled effects.

 

Anyone else get this?

Yeah, happens to me to. Almost every mission i try out either CTD or freezes. Beta 3 is unplayable for me.

I locked up in this one too, but don't remember exactly when. It was still during my "getting shaders all complied" post-install phase though, so now that games are starting quicker I'll try it again.

Same here. Freezes exactly as described by Stretch. It's weird because the first time I tried the mission in beta 3, it didn't freeze (though JTAC sent me home with no tasking...). But then I tried about 4 times and it always froze between wpt 2 and 3.

Just played through this one again. No hangs this time, but the missions... didn't work. I tried like 10 times to contact the AFAC Dodge 2-1. For some reason he was showing up 3 times in the radio menu. I tried all three of the entries before reaching the IP, after reaching the IP, after flying over the enemy targets and even after the Allied Flight had reported enemy armor contacts to Dodge 2-1, but every time I checked in I was told no tasking available.

 

So I took out a few tanks and some Nuna's and called it a day.

 

Also, somewhere down the runway I hit something and lost my nose gear on takeoff.

 

Fun little night missions though, gun runs at night are scary!

It would add a lot more immersion if the JTAC in this mission worked. I lost my hard earned :) A-G kill score when I accidentaly sho some Mavs at Georgian T-72s

Still the same problem. You rely on the JTAC in this mission and he still says "no tasking available". Sad, I would have liked this mission :(
