clanitho Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Hi , This is how i install patch beta 3 on full beta 2: -uninstall full beta 2, -ccleaner, -installation full beta 2, -installation patch beta 2 on to full beta 2, -installation patch beta 3 on to full beta 2. Firts launch of DCS A10C is more longer than before +/- 1mn 30, At first launch of a mission ( free flight black sea air startup ) blue multiplayer icone come with orange solo icone in taskbar, and i was unable to click some touch in the cockpit. After launching this mission 2 or 3 time, no more blue icone and cockpit full clickable. Everithing is ok now , load time of the sim is now correct (same in full beta 2) , i notice same fps but some more stutter than before. Hoping this helps you, Sorry for my bad english :noexpression: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 - Intel I7 4790K - Artic cooling freezer 7 pro rev 2 - GSKILL 32 Go - SSD Crucial M5 120 go - SSD Crucial 2To - HDD western digital caviar blue 1 TO - Gigabyte GTX 1070 Gaming G1 - Windows 10 home 64 bits
bradleyjs Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 (edited) I had the Beta2 Full install and Beta3 kept saying "A-10C" version 1.1.0.0 should be installed" ... I uninstalled everything. Started with the Beta1, Beta2 Patch, then Beta3 patch and it finally allowed it to be installed.. On another note: I know this was asked earlier, but, I don't have access to the Beta Forum (nor do I know how to request access).. But, what happened to the Nevada Map? Wags mentioned that it is is excluded in the release notes... just curious as I loved that area.... mattpeckham Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Hi , This is how i install patch beta 3 on full beta 2: -uninstall full beta 2, -ccleaner, -installation full beta 2, -installation patch beta 2 on to full beta 2, -installation patch beta 3 on to full beta 2. This got it working for me, except you can skip the first two steps. Thus: 1. Install the full-version beta 2. 2. Run the beta 2 patch. 3. Run the beta 3 patch.
RogueRunner Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Why not just trying to install B3 over B2? I did that, with changes to options.lau for multi monitor support, and it worked flawlessly first time round. All I did before running B3 for the first time, after I installed it was to clear the temp folder. With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.
kingneptune117 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 dude there is a much simper method somebody else explained...change the version in the registry editor.
