Saitek X52 Stick+ Keyboard + Saitek X52 Throttle all 3 enclosure idea

Hello,

I need to know if there are stock housing or enclosure for brand names hotas, such as saitek X52.

By enclosure or housing I mean a common wooden or plastic base which houses the flight stick, the throttle, and the keyboard, so they are moved as a single unit.

like so:

probably add the suckers at bottom for glassy desktops which I happen to have alot. also drill holes

I need this cuz my gaming laptop is the same as my work laptop, and they interchange.

I could use the padding of suitcases like rifle suitcases to house the parts, but have to take a sort of dental impression of the 3 bases altogether. I dont know in materials but I was thinking, wax?

Ideas anyone. Brands? something you know?

I get a feeling you are not very inclined for DIY stuff if you ask questions like that... first of all you really should not be using nails for fixing anything and use screws instead (you might want to be able to take things apart one day), also you can use any wood you like... or any other material you like working with or have access to. I mean what you are asking for is just something of box shape and should be pretty easy to make... maybe you could try visting local hardware store and look around for materials and you might come up with some idea on how to get what you are after.

no I'm all for DIY but I've done so few things, and carpentry is a field I yet to master. I meant screws (philips, right?) nail in plastic = crack ;)

I might hit a local store, but I'll shoot for wood first, cuz the extra weight might make playing awkward. tips are appreciated.:smilewink:
