1) Depends heavily on mission.

2) Depends on the HAS, some it does not have to be a direct hit.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

I managed to destroy an HAS in A-10C with a single Mk82. Would a similar HAS get destroyed in real life with a Mk82 ?

This depends on the HAS and the fuze.

There are some VERY hard and buries HAS out there. On average, I'd say a tail-fuzed Mk82 using a penetrating warhead would do the job just fine. If you use nose fuze and it is a relatively hard HAS, then the bomb might just explode on the surface and do next-to-nothing. This is highly situational so the real answer is 'it depends'.

While we don't have the fuzing simulated in detail in DCS, it might not be terribly important in the end. Or it may come in the future.
