Lio Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Hallo just reinstalled and got the new beta 3. When im doing ramp starts i dont get any nav data or weapon loadout loaded on the DTS page. Even though it flash DTS download complete on the CDU after i pressed the LOAD ALL on the MFCD. Anyone have a clue what im doing wrong?

kylania Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Track? :) You should get DSMS I think, never actually checked that page till I was fully up, but you will get the "NO Nav Data" message on the TAD until the EGI is fully aligned (4 minute wait) and you've switched to NAV mode on the CDU. You should be able to LOAD ALL once you get DTS Download Complete though as you were, just the TAD won't be fully loaded till later even if all the *s are there again. Anyone have a clue what im doing wrong? You have to wait until the DTC finishes downloading to the CDU before you turn on the CICU. A good rule of thumb is that it's safe to turn on the CICU once the HSI uncages and shows the correct heading (instead of north). If you do that, the CICU will be able to get the correct data from the CDU and your DSMS and map page will work correctly. Soulreciever Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Hi, i have the same issue, i paused with Beta3 until today. Starting the hog from a dark and cold state, as in Beta1 and Beta2 i´m getting the "No Nav Data" failure-message in the TAD-MFD. Step by step: I start the Batt, APU, Radios, then the Engines. After that i start the CDU and the EGI. As soon as it is aligned the CICU is beeing switched on. Bit is beeing performed while aligning. Now i press "load all". But nothing happens, "No Nav Data" shows up in the TAD-MFD. I read that i have to put the CDU into NAV? What does that mean? The manual doesn´t cover that, or i´m looking at the wrong spots. The CDU is set to "Flight Plan" and "Waypoint" Btw the "NAV-Warning-Light" in the warninglight-panel wont go off. I´m missing some major step that must be new in Beta3.
