Hi,

I just bought a new CH HOTAS and I have throuble figuring out how I should set it up.I have posted in CH forum and now it seems to work ok in calibration and test mode, but when I should try it in Lock-on,I still have problems with it.

I have CH Fighterstick,CH Pro Throttle,CH Pro pedals.USB.

From the start:

1. install:

Installed one by one and let windows handle the rest.

Restarted and loaded CH manager 3.6.

Restarted again.

Entering calibration I got a lot of flashing on the buttons.Spiking I believe.

Tried it in the sim and missiles went autofire and controls were funky.

Went to CH forum and got help from Bob Church,(thx) and uninstalled everything and installed again. Now it seems to work fine in testing and calibration, but when I try it in Lock-on with no profile loaded and input settings in default it still don`t work properly. If I give an input to the ailerons and keep the input, the aircraft will roll for a second then stop.I have to release the input and apply a new to roll again. The same goes for all other axis.I tested the inputs in the options screen and I noticed that I still had some flashing on the buttons.

I use a powered USB hub so I think that should be ok.

I suppose there are quite a few CH users in this forum and hope someone can help me.

I assume you're calibrating in Control Manager and not windows?

I find sims work better if they see your controller as one controller. I would suggest you download someones profile and in stall it in the ch products/control manger/maps folder. Then go into Contol Manager and hit the load button on top left. Double click the map you installed and then hit the download button. Windows should find drivers for the combined controller.

Then go into Lock On and assign all the axes again. Make sure to clear one of the throttle assignments. I believe right or left engine (forget which) is assigned. Clear that one off and assign throttle to the CH throttle.

I'm not sure why the buttons are flickering. I would start over. Uninstall Control manager again. Unplug all the USB CH controller first. Go in the CH folder and delete it all. This is how I install it all:

Plug in the CH controller one at a time and let Windows find the drivers. Leave them plugged in and install Control Manager. After CM installs let it install all the drivers (long list). Then reboot. It will install the drivers again. It's ok. Let it. Then go into Control Manager and calibrate all three controllers. Nothing should flicker. Try to bypass your hub if they do, just to see if that's the problem.

Don't forget to clear all of your button assignments to the HOTAS in LOMAC. The stock button assignments interfere w/what the CH software is trying to do.

Explain why Rugg? I never do that and have no problems. However, I always use the default button assignments on my maps.
