Anyone got or can make a .trk file of them refueling?

Hopefully one that has them refueling in one go till their tanks are full and they are asked to disconnect(If they do? I've never filled up to full before so I don't know.:music_whistling:)

Thanks.

Hi

i made a refueling replay for you, i got 4 or 5 times disconnected but thats no big deal just press the NWS-button and your light goes from disconnect to ready and then try to reconnect.

I am not that good in refueling but at least i got filled up. :)

I started with 25% fuel and did it till the end, they just say "transfer complete" if you are filled up and disconnect you. In the replay you can see in the right down corner the fuel gauge.

The important thing is to watch the refuel pipe and the green marking on it, allways try to keep the green marking on the exit of the bigger pipe. If the marking goes in or out just correct your speed or go a bit up/down to keep it green. If the green marking is masked behind the upper cockpit frame you are to low.

I hope you understand what i mean :D

Thank you for the tips and the replay track.

Much appriecated.

I noticed you seems to hold level flight much better than me. When I trim for level flight, my plane doesn't seem as steady as yours. Even with one press of the trim(up or down)it pitches up or down too much for my liking. Wish there was a half trim button.

Maybe my refueling airspeed is set up incorrectly. Maybe my joystick curves are set up wrong. Something I'll have to look into.

Anyway.....

Now that I have something to compare to and study, I'll keep practicing my refueling.

Thanks brother.

yeah its very hard to hold exact level of the aircraft, but with some practice you do better :) you can see that in my replay, sometimes i can hold perfect level and then i go up and down and up and down... :smilewink:

if you approach the tanker first open your fuel door because that messes your trimm up, then fly as near as possible to the tanker and figure out whats the exact speed of the tanker (i set the tanker speed in my replay to 240kts but if flys only around 225kts).

Then trimm your aircraft for that speed, i didnt changed my trim afterwards because you dont need to (tanker speed should not change). i only did veeeeery little corrections with my throttle and stick. :joystick:
