Conure Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Hey guys, It seems the hammerhead turns and cuban eights that I learnt on RoF just arent going to cut it..Anyway, I've done most of the tutorials and read half the manual, but was curious...Heres a scenario mission.. Sunset Sierra: So, I get that I am effectively moving around to the flank of the enemies to support CAS to the guys on the ground moving up from our own frontline, so, I'm at 9000 feet on the approach to the target area (too high, too low?) and set the AP to orbit it whilst I scout out enemies...What now? Should I start bombing their anti air, or be moving in quickly with the cannon to get rid of the tanks? I'm not great with bombs at the moment, they seem to drop arbitrarily! More practice I think, but thought I'd ask you guys about the correct procedures with regards to approach and target picking. Thanks! sobek Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 What now? Uhm, how should i put this? ;) The briefing specifically tells you to contact the JTAC at WPT3 and from that point on, you do what he says. Sounds like a plan? :) Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Conure Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Ah I see, should've been paying closer attention to that rather than trying to work out whats going on :) Intel i7 6700k, Asus GTX1070, 16gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Rudder Pedals, Samsung Evo 850 SSD @ 500GB * 2, TrackIR 5 and 27" monitor running at 2560 * 1440, Windows 10.
