AKA_Clutter Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 All, I am having major problems with the Shkval. What happens is that after I uncage the Shkval it starts to drift straight up. I have tried resetting the everything via backspace, turning on and off Automatic-turn-on-target-mode as well as Ground-moving-target . That seems to have no effect. I have had this problem with and without the above modes tuned on or off. Sometimes it occurs immediately after uncaging the Shkval and other times it works fine for a few minutes. I am using a CH HOTAS with the keys programed through the CH manager. In the Key test function all seems to work fine. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. KosPilot Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Hi Clutter, I am using CH products as well, but I am not using the CH manager. Instead I use standard Windows setup for game controllers and edit my buttons and axis in BS control options. This setup has never created problems for me, nor in XP or Win7x64. If continuing to use CH manager, make sure that your Shkval control isn't duplicated to some other button or axis. Any mixup may lead to erratic behaviour.
Henchman14 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Did you hit lock - [Enter] key, to ground stabilize it?
Bucic Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 First use keyboard only to test various functions. Only then try the same with joystick program.
