169th_DedCat Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Check out the fine detail on this beauty. Someone in ED wanted the Hornet to be flown. :) F/A-18C Hornet screenshots c/o 169th_Mustang. Play Hard - Play Fair Squadron Leader "DedCat" 169th Panthers - http://www.169thpanthers.net
airea Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Is this really flyable with all its avionics and fully functioning parts or just made for fun? Where can we find this mod?
Kevlon Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 sadly not, not flyable with avionics and fully functioning parts . Its not a mod, its just an AI aircarft in lomac. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
169th_DedCat Posted June 17, 2005 Author Posted June 17, 2005 Where can we find this mod? It's not a mod, that's just the way the AI Hornet looks in LOMAC. It's a shame you can't fly it. :( Play Hard - Play Fair Squadron Leader "DedCat" 169th Panthers - http://www.169thpanthers.net
ALDEGA Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 In flaming cliffs you can fly every aircraft (with Su-27 cockpit and generic FM) by setting humancockpit = yes in meinit.xml. You can fly it, open canopy etc. btw, the F/A-18 3D model is very low detail compared to the Su-25T model ;)
KuostA Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 We know that...but I dont want to be flying this beautiful model knowning that its utilizing the Flanker flight dynamics.. Gah. It really is a magnificent model..One of the most well done Hornet models out there. If only..
169th_DedCat Posted June 18, 2005 Author Posted June 18, 2005 In flaming cliffs you can fly every aircraft Sure, you can edit the LUA and fly the 3D frame around, but you're not actually flying a Hornet. It's a very poor substitute for actually having a true flyable F/A-18C. Play Hard - Play Fair Squadron Leader "DedCat" 169th Panthers - http://www.169thpanthers.net
ALDEGA Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Perhaps you should have continued reading. It goes on as "every aircraft (with Su-27 cockpit and generic FM) " ....
169th_DedCat Posted June 18, 2005 Author Posted June 18, 2005 I read your post just fine. As I said, it's a very poor substitute for actually having a true flyable F/A-18C. Play Hard - Play Fair Squadron Leader "DedCat" 169th Panthers - http://www.169thpanthers.net
