WildBillKelsoe Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Hello, my unit arrived with a DOA X axis. Not working. All other things work. I taped the opening underneath the X52 joystick in this movie, all other axes work perfectly. I think maybe a problem of solder. If anybd knows which wires coming from the pipe (refer to video if not familiar) that control X axis register please do tell. I cant return it since custom duties, shipping would cost me 3 X price. Vid: Thanks AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Madball Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Had same problem dude... this solution worked for me: 1. Disconnect the x-axis connector from the board. 2. Pull out the complete axis movement mechanism 3. Take a skrewdriver and scratch over both magnets 4. Hold the skrewdriver against BOTH side of the small plate between the magnets. 5. Connect X-axis again 6. Give it a try and hopefully be happy! Take Care, Madball.

Do you know how to fix it? more importantly, where to get replacements? All advice appreciated. I also tried scraping both magnetic balls on either sides of the sensor. I know its the sensor thing, and if only I could buy replacements Edited January 17, 2011 by WildBillKelsoe AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below.
