DanKurt Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I am upgrading my PC by replacing MBoard, CPU, Memory and Gfx Card but I am keeping my HDD which has DCS BS, A10 and Lock On FC 2 installed. Would I need to deactivate these before I carry out my build or will they work ok as I am not changing the operating system or HDD on which they are installed?
159th_Viper Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Herewith criteria: An activation will be required if the hardware/software changes exceed 12 points as rated below: CPU ID: 13 Windows PID: 3 Computer Name: 3 Hard drive volume serial number: 3 MAC address: 6 RAM amount: 6 In your instance replacing the CPU alone will nullify your current activation. Heli Shed Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Situation: I have two serials for A-10C. One serial for my home PC one Serial for my server. Question: If I were to inadvertantly (stupidly, ridiculously, hyperthetically speaking because i would never be soooo much of a B***** idiot to do so) enter MY serial number into the server copy on the server, would i be able to re-enter a NEW serial (the intended server serial) onto the server A-10C even after it had been activated on MY serial? Would i need to completely uninstall the server copy and re-install and then enter the server serial, or am i just completely screwed? Thanks 'T' PS: Just beaten myself with a wet fish! - idiot! Macca Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 A quick one - when the A10 is officially released do I need to deactivate the beta and download its full version or will these beta activations be turned off by you guys and will the persons who preordered the sim given new serials and activations for the official release?
