I have a cheap stick (Logitech extreme 3D pro)...

After a search, I am looking for a place to find someone's numerical values for each xyz axes.

After a reinstall and new card, having a hell of a time wobbling.

Would really appreciate the help.

Cheers,

Moosh

Basically with a flat curve, as you move your stick 50% to the left, the in sim stick moves 50% to the left. Given that 50% on the real stick is probably 3 or 4 times the distance 50% is on my crappy stick, there is need for adjustment. My stick, with a flat curve is horribly sensitive at the centre.

The curve allows for finer control at the centre, by mapping say up to 20% of my movement to 10-5% in sim - 40% on mine to 20% in sim and so on.

However the mapping is not linear, at the outer say 80 to 100% the sticks begin to match more closely until 100% on both sticks. Finer control at the centre, coarser control at the extremes,

The greater the curve the more the centre values on my stick are mapped lower to the in sim stick.

Clear as mud huh? See page 25 of the GUI manual.

My X and Y settings are the same, and the change made such a huge difference for my overall effectiveness:

10

100

50

27

I spent more than 40 hours coming up with these numbers. They work best for me.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
