RussianKnights Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Hi ED, i would like to ask if some new 3D models will be added to the final version of DCS A-10C. Also, if some of the original models will be rebuilt, and, if so, which of them? Molnija Motherboard: ASUS Rog STRIX Z390E GAMING Processor: Intel i9-9900K (without OC) RAM: DDR4 Kingstone 32GB, 3133MHz, CL15 Graphics Card: ASUS Rog Strix RTX2080S OC Joy: Saitek X56 PRO + Pedals TrackIR: 5PRO + TrackClipPro OS: Windows 10 PRO x64 bit My DCS dreams: MiG-23MLA, MiG-29S, MiG-31, Su-17M4, Su-24, Su-25, Su-27, Mirage F1, Tornado IDS, Mil Mi-2, Mil Mi-24P and new maps: Central Europe (1970 - 1990), Vietnam (1960 - 1980), Afghanistan, Cuba, Kaliningrad and more new 3d AI models :)
sobek Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I'm guessing that most of all the new 3d models are already in. Mudhen, Mi-8, Mi-26, to name just a few. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
RussianKnights Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 Also I would like to ask if the older models will be rebuilt gradually? For example, the old GRAD model looks very ridiculous in compare with the new SMERTCH model. sobek Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Also I would like to ask if the older models will be rebuilt gradually? For example, the old GRAD model looks very ridiculous in compare with the new SMERTCH model. All the units i mentioned previously had lower poly 3d models, so yes, old models are being updated. Keep in mind that there is a huge number of 3dmodels, so not all the old models can be refurbished during the course of one DCS module. One step at a time. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
RussianKnights Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 I liked the patch philosophy for BS, when almost every patch contained also new 3D models of the technics. It is planned to continue in this philosophy in A-10C? I would not mind if some new models would be paid, for example 30 € for 10 models. But what about the other users opinions? Will be the new maps in the next series except Nevada? The model reconstruction goes really slow, and it would be good to have new models too! Guys, I really appreciate your work and I am a big fan of yours since Flanker 2.0 and I will remain! Sorry for my bad english :( Motherboard: ASUS Rog STRIX Z390E GAMING Processor: Intel i9-9900K (without OC) RAM: DDR4 Kingstone 32GB, 3133MHz, CL15 Graphics Card: ASUS Rog Strix RTX2080S OC Joy: Saitek X56 PRO + Pedals TrackIR: 5PRO + TrackClipPro OS: Windows 10 PRO x64 bit My DCS dreams: MiG-23MLA, MiG-29S, MiG-31, Su-17M4, Su-24, Su-25, Su-27, Mirage F1, Tornado IDS, Mil Mi-2, Mil Mi-24P and new maps: Central Europe (1970 - 1990), Vietnam (1960 - 1980), Afghanistan, Cuba, Kaliningrad and more new 3d AI models :)
