deeteewan Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 hi guys is it possible to combine thos two options? i mean to fly and turn your head view with the mouse and still use a clickable cockpit ? i know that in dcs black shark there was no problem doing it thanks alot mao
Succellus Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 You mean Track it + clicking ? If its that its helllish. Its a matter of pacience tweaking good mood and more pacience. HaF 922, Asus rampage extreme 3 gene, I7 950 with Noctua D14, MSI gtx 460 hawk, G skill 1600 8gb, 1.5 giga samsung HD. Track IR 5, Hall sensed Cougar, Hall sensed TM RCS TM Warthog(2283), TM MFD, Saitek pro combat rudder, Cougar MFD.
dandebo Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 I would also like to know this. I think he means, can you look around the cockpit with the mouse. not just clicking on stuff. change the view with the mouse.
Nate--IRL-- Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Not possible in warthog, sorry. IIRC it was something to do with some of the cockpit controls not behaving themselves in that hybrid mode. Some of the controls are more complex, dual function and dual axis, compared with those of Black shark, which are single use. You do get used to using ALT-C after a while. deeteewan Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 hi guys thanks for your answers i ment what "dandebo" wrote on his post.. "turn your head view with the mouse and still use a clickable cockpit" it is very sad to users that do not use Trackir hardware... is there a chance that dcs guys will develop it on the final product ?
Nate--IRL-- Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 (edited) No, sorry, see my post above. edit:- Aha! It appears the Hybrid 3rd mode is still in Warthog, just turned off by default. option is always available in the Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\clickable_common.lua just set use_click_and_pan_mode = true Nate Edited September 23, 2011 by Nate--IRL-- Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

Blah Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 This is kind of nice, but unfortunately doesn't work quite the way I'd expect... The cursor moves around the screen as well as panning, so you can easily end up with the cursor being at the left of the screen while you are looking to the right, for example, which is odd. It also makes clicking on small things rather tricky. I'd find it more natural to have the cursor locked in the middle of the screen, controlling the view like a FPS or similar, with the clickable item always being in the middle of the screen.
