Hi Guys!

Does someone has experience how to install those glowing switches so that they glow after activation? I have a GP-Wiz40 MAX USB from GroovyGameGear and a X-Keys controller. I want to make seperate Penel Boxes like TigersharkBAS (thx Tiger :-)) - in each box there will be either a GP-Wiz40 or my X-Keys. Do I have to install a seperate power supply with batteries or can the switches be powered with the USB controllers?

Thx in advance for your help :)!

P.S.: I attached the spec sheets of the switches I want to use.

Pikas....you can use the 5v connection from the GPWiz40.

However, you will need to put a resistor between your 5V and the pole for the switch.

47 ohm resistor will do the trick.

You will need to run a ground wire from the GPWiz to the "-" pole, then a wire from 5V to the "+" pole with resistor on it, then you will need a ground wire to one of the other poles and wire from the 4th pole to the GPWiz button connection.

Hi TigersharkBAS. Again you, you are always there if one needs you - thank you so much again, I hope I can pay something back someday. Aha the resistor is the trick, will pay some in the next days and report back. My Panel Boxes are 50% completed (thanks to you) will show them here when ready.
