Lonecrow66 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I've seen screens I've seen others with the wingtip lights on etc, but I've never been able to get mine going. I usually end up giving up. I know the nose wheel lights are for taxi, takeoff and landing. I know the far right back panel is for lighting. I have turned ON the strobe, turned the dial so it is full bright. I've played with all the dials and can't get the external lights to work. Someone make a really short youtube or something? I'm just not getting it. Even though the manual talks about how to turn them on. I turn them on and it just doesn't show. The formation dial is full on.. If I click on the anti collision light it flips up and then just auto goes back down. Small thing but never got mine going. Maybe just not visible during the day? --- May your takeoffs equal your landings!

Sinky Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Take a look at page 158 in the flight manual. Read the section about the pinky switch. When you start off the pinky switch is in the center position I think which will cut out most external lighting. Edit: I usually use LCTRL + P to allow me to turn the lights on and when I'm in the air and about to ingress I cut them with LSHIFT + P. EtherealN Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 FAQ: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67747 Q: Why are my NAV lights not working. A: They work, you need to set the pinkie switch to the aft position (LCtrl+P) on the left side of the throttle. Was wondering what they were for. --- May your takeoffs equal your landings!
