Irregular programming Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) While flying the first campaign the first thing I noticed are what appears to be large rectangles of fog that go straight down. Also as I fly through it the fog consists of large visible triangles and when I get above it I get blinded by the sunlight reflecting on the top layer, this effect is way more intense than actually looking directly at the sun. Also the sun gives me a stage-light effect on to the cockpit, it doesn't seem to light the cockpit as much as it is putting a yellow cone texture on top of it. I'll try and put up a video or screen shot up when I am able to. Windows 7 64bit i7 950 @ 4.17 GHz 6 GB Ram Geforce GTX 460 Edited February 23, 2011 by Irregular programming

mckee14 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 jup, dont Alt-Tab out of the sim, or run it in windowed mode. at least i had the same and this helped. (if you are "lucky" enough, the smoke from destroyed enemies starts to look the same after Alt-Tab) Democracy is choice, not freedom...
Irregular programming Posted February 24, 2011 Author Posted February 24, 2011 Most likely the ALT-TAB bug, but I'll confirm when I see a pic. Nate Yeah it's the alt+tab bug, I realised this after browsing around here, there are several pictures in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=68101 I always alt+tabbed while the game was loading, so I always got this error. While in beta I couldn't fly the overcast missions due to performance so I never noticed it before. feel free to lock and/or delete this post.
