To those of you who need to ALT-TAB (me! me!) during flying, I believe I have the fix. As suggested to me in a related thread, just go to options and run the sim in WINDOWED mode. I did this, and when flying you can't tell the difference. I ALT-TAB'd, and came back to flying without a hiccup OR graphical woes. Seemed to run great actually. Just FYI.:pilotfly:

Thanks for the advice, but v-sync won't work in windowed mode AFAIK. Some don't mind this, but with my monitor it is a must, or there is a lot of visible tearing.

 

You can use D3DOverrider to force Vsync
